I-275 / I-4 Reconstruction: looking east at the heart of the interchange (December 2002)

This photo shows work in the early stages of the I-275 / I-4 reconstruction. This view is looking east towards Nebraska Avenue (middle of photo -- under the bridges and by the red billboard). The roadway towards the top is Interstate 4; the roadway at the bottom is Interstate 275. Work at this point involved installing high-mast lighting, embankment for the widening, and substructure work for the new bridge that will carry southbound I-275 traffic to eastbound I-4.
