A view from below the new MLK bridge over I-275 (June 2004)

Work is wrapping up after setting concrete girders overnight. Looking north (the entrance ramp and bridge for Ulmerton Road to northbound I-275 is in the background), these just-set girders will help form the portion of the bridge over southbound I-275 that takes traffic from southbound I-275 to southbound Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Street. Southbound traffic was detoured off the interstate to Ulmerton Road and Roosevelt Boulevard while the girder setting operation took place.
