New steel girders in Downtown Tampa Interchange (May 2004)

Bridge construction continues in the Downtown Tampa Interchange. These steel girders will become part of the new ramp that will carry westbound I-4 motorists to the downtown exits (Jefferson Street, Ashley Drive, and Doyle Carlton Drive). This view is looking northeast. The tallest bridge (which opened in April) carries southbound I-275 traffic to eastbound I-4.
