I-4 reconstruction over the CSX rail line (May 2004)

In this view looking east at I-4 reconstruction, many elements of construction can be seen. Piles have been driven for bridges over the CSX rail line, as well as over 34th Street. Embankment work is underway to bring the new roadway up to the designed grade. Utility and drainage work are on-going on both sides of the existing interstate. Concrete sign foundations, such as the one to the right of the crane at the bottom of the photo are also being installed.
