Viaduct construction along I-275 in Downtown Tampa (February 2005)

To the left in the photo, placement of bridge beams has begun for the viaduct that will separate traffic exiting to downtown from mainline I-275 traffic. Between the viaduct and the mainline, widening is also underway for the southbound I-275 mainline. This photo is looking east. The ramps at the bottom are the Ashley Drive exit (bottom left) and Ashley Drive entrance (bottom right) interchange ramps.
