About this Project
The Florida Department of Transportation's contractor cleaned and coated all structural steel and steel bearings on various bridges over I-75, including the following bridges:

* Selmon Expressway ramp to southbound I-75.
* Northbound I-75 exit ramp to U.S. Highway 301.
* Causeway Boulevard overpass.
* Progress Boulevard overpass.

The work involved ressure washing each bridge and then applying coats of paint.

Traffic Flow
The majority of work was done at night when traffic volume was lighter.

Night Work
In order to maintain the construction schedule and to minimize the impact to the traveling public, lane closures were used during nighttime hours as needed.
